About Me
Hello! My name is Jolene Smith. I was born and raised in Renton, so Washington has always been my home. I love being in the Pacific Northwest surrounded by so many beautiful trees and greenery. I now live with my husband, Christian, and our very vocal Siamese cat. I have been married to him for over 14 years and we now live in Auburn. We love taking road trips to national parks and I enjoy about crafting!
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 19 years. Throughout my massage career I have always loved working on pregnant people. I find the process of pregnancy and birth to be incredible. The reason I started Doula work was because of a pre and postnatal massage class that helped fuel my passion for the pregnancy and birthing process. This class with a midwife, a doula, and a couple of other massage therapists. This was a special experience because I was able pick the brains of both a midwife and a doula. From there I knew I had to take the first step into the birthing world, by getting my doula certification, and working with birthing people for over 4 years.
What our bodies can do is amazing! I am astonished at every birth I go to by being able to witness the power and strength that comes from deep down inside of a person. In the end I get to mix my two worlds (massage and doula) to make an extraordinary outcome! Who wouldn’t love a job like that!!
My philosophy with birth is that every person who wants a doula should have one. A doula should support and help advocate the wishes of their client. Understanding that not all births go 100% according to plan but that the client gets to try to have the birth that they desire. And in the end, feel and be empowered by being listened too.

I’m always available to contact by phone/email throughout and will provide everything you require to make sure your experience is as calm and positive as possible.

Pre and Postnatal Massage
I have been a licensed Massage Therapist for the last 19 years. I have been certified in Pre and Postnatal Massage. Massage is great way to relieve aches and pains caused by the changes your body is going through during pregnancy. Massage is a beneficial way to bond the mother and baby together.
